Data from interviews for the qualitative pilot project Ciber4Help

Fundación Cibervoluntarios is a Spanish NGO which works towards the reduction of the digital breach within the society, by proposing training on digital skills, from the basic use of tools and devices, until more specialized content, all thanks to a current network of 1,800 cybervolunteers, and 1,300 collaborating grassroots organisations. In March 2020, as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Foundation set-up the helpline “Cibervoluntarios Responde” (Cibervoluntarios responds), as a service open to citizens, for them to be able to ask questions related to difficulties they may encounter with technology (devices, navigation, set up of digital tools, etc...). In the 4-month project "Ciber4Help : qualitative pilot action on the advantages of the use of the Ask4Help app by cybervolunteers", winner of the WeNet open calls, the Ask4Help app from the WeNet project has been directly applied to this already existing service, by opening it to the cybervolunteers community, used to responding to the questions received through the helpline. To achieve its goal, we have performed interviews to the cybervolunteers in our network, before and after using the Ask4Help app. The dataset contains the final notes of the interviews made, in Spanish language, for any researcher wanting to consult them.
